Yes. shalwa is live in Dubai on iPhone — download it from the App Store. Android is coming soon.
Which cities does it cover?
shalwa covers the paid parking zones of Dubai today. More of the UAE will follow.
Do I need to open the app every time I park?
No. Once shalwa is on, it works in the background. You only open the app to check a receipt or top up your wallet.
How much does it cost?
You'll pay for your parking, plus a shalwa service fee of 20% of the parking tariff — VAT included where it applies. We always show you the full amount up front.
Does it work with my car?
shalwa runs through CarPlay and your phone. If you can park in a paid UAE zone, shalwa can cover it.
Is my license plate supported?
Yes — all seven emirates' plate formats are supported, so whichever emirate registered your car, shalwa recognises it.
